Saudi Visa photo
To enter Saudi Arabia as a foreign national, you will have to apply for your own Saudi visa. For the application you will need a personal photo that fits the requirements listed below. You must have a minimum of two photos with you for your application. Without obtaining a personal photo, you may face rejection with your application and may have to postpone or cancel any trips to Saudi.
| Background | The background should be white. The background should not have any pattern. The photo should show only the person to be photographed (no other persons (group pictures) or objects in the photo). No shadows must be shown on the background. |
| Features | Natural facial expressions. Hair should not be obscure the face, and the face should be centered in the photo. |
| Head position | Straight, not tilted, parallel to the camera lens. |
| Eyes | Eyes wide open, looking towards the camera and without the use of colored lenses. It is recommended to not wear glasses. |
| Glasses | No eyewear. |
| Dress code | Religious wear is permitted, as long as it does not obscure the face. |
| Resolution (pixels) | At least 600 dpi without ink trace. |
| Photo Size | The digital photo should be between 200 pixels (width) x 200 pixels (height). The physical photo should be 51mm (width) x 51mm (height). |
| Digital Photo Requirements | It should be in JPEG format and file size should be between 5-100 KB. |
| Physical Photo Print Quality | The photo print should be on high quality glossy photo paper, not matte. |
| Age of Photo | The photo should have been taken within the last 6 months. |
| Head Size | The head should take up approximately 70-80% of the photo. Alternatively the head measurement from the base of the chin to the crown of the head should measure 1.4 to 1.6 inches. |
